History and Analysis
“Three, three-story frame (brick filled) dwellings, 20×40, and extension 12×15, tin roofs, cost $3,500 each”[1]
Buildings have lost much of their original integrity due to alterations of the primary facade, including the addition of vinyl siding. Additionally, the original 1887 center building, 969 Madison (lot 56) was demolished and replaced with the existing brick structure c. 2004.
