History and Analysis

This is a rowhouse style type dwelling, but is unlike any other rowhouses in its immediate, five block vicinity. This building is unaltered with the exception of an enclosed front porch that envelopes the first story facade. This building is clad in yellow brick with corbelling near the cornice, features terra-cotta quoins and incised lintels, and possesses an original pressed-metal cornice. The main entry is composed of Doric columns, and the door hood was custom made with the building’s address and is made of leaded glass that appears to be from the 1920’s. Date of this building was determined from the Brooklyn Department of Buildings.
