History and Analysis
The two-story rowhouse at 48 Jefferson Street was built between 1889 and 1904 as a brick building with the dimensions 20 feet wide by 39 feet deep and 24 feet high. In 1922, it was occupied by two families.[1] While the red-brick facade of 48 Jefferson Street has not been covered with faux siding, the cornice is missing and the entrance has been slightly altered.
