History and Analysis
The three-story rowhouse at 16 Jefferson Street once housed a doctor’s office in the basement (now the first floor) and two families, one on each of the upper two floors (now the second and third floors), in 1949. Now, with its stoop removed, the rowhouse facade has lost many of its original facade features and has been covered with faux siding.
