History and Analysis
1180-1184 Bushwick Avenue is a row of three four stories brownstone tenements built in 1903 by Walter B. Wills, following the development of 1144-1146 Bushwick Avenue in 1899 by the same architect, builder (Walter B. Wills) and owner, Philip Steingotter who resided at 1354 Bushwick Avenue. All structures retain a high level of architectural integrity with original characteristics intact, including the brownstone cladding, the stoops, and pressed metal cornices.
