History and Analysis
1141-1145 Bushwick Avenue is a row of three four stories brownstone tenement built for $3,500 each in 1890, deigned by F. J. Helmle. Although the ground floor of 1145 Bushwick Avenue has been altered to allow commercial use, all structures retain a high level of architectural integrity with original characteristics intact, including the brownstone cladding, the stoops, and pressed metal cornices.
