History and Analysis
1134 Bushwick Avenue is a two and a half story tenement built for $2,000 in 1885 by S. J. Veeder who resided at 396 Evergreen Avenue. According to historic maps and documents from the Brooklyn Department of Buildings, this structure was built four years after the development of 1124-30 Bushwick Avenue by Stephen J. Burrows. Its front facade has been stuccoed over, however it retains its original stoop, iron railing, and pressed metal cornice.
