History and Analysis
1124-1132 Jefferson Avenue is a row of five three bay, two-and-a-half-story rowhouses located between Bushwick Avenue and Evergreen Avenue. All are covered in vinyl siding with most historic ornament removed from the front facade. The wood framed, brick filled rowhouses with tin roofs were designed by Ernest Schrempf and built by F. G. Hummel. They were commissioned by R. B. Muller of 37 Cornelia Street in 1890 as a speculative development venture for $3,200 each.
