History and Analysis
1099-1135 Jefferson Avenue is a row of nineteen two and a half story rowhouses built in 1889, designed by F. G. Hummel. The original owner and builder, R. B. Muller who resided at 37 Cornelia Street also developed 39-45 Cornelia Street in 1888, and 1137-47 Jefferson Avenue in 1890. All structures have been highly altered; none of them retains its original brick facade and cornice, and is completely covered in vinyl siding.
