History and Analysis
1024 Hancock Street is a free standing, three-story tenement with a projecting bay extending the height of the left side of the front facade and an entrance at street level on the right side, located between Bushwick Avenue and Broadway. It is covered in vinyl siding with a covered cornice and most historic ornament removed. The wood framed tenement was designed by Ernest Dennis. It was commissioned by a certain McKillopp in 1887.
